Georgetown, Del., March 26, 1918:
The plant of the Milton Times, a weekly paper, was sold at sheriff's sale for $327 to the Sussex Trust Company.
A large storage house is being erected in Bridgeville by H. P. Cannon.
Dr. Evans Roberts, Dr. Frederick Rhul, Dr. James P. Loffland, Wilbert Dickerson, and William E. Messick, have been appointed a Board of Health for Milford.
Milford Council has ordered a stone road built from Milford to the duPont Boulevard, a mile from town.
Walter R. Hilyard, of Georgetown, has purchased the Morris Mill, near Stokley, for $4000 and has secured William Layton of snow Hill to take charge of the mill.
Walter Donovan of Smyrna, has purchased a fine herd of cattle from Frank Warren of Lincoln, and will take them to his large farm near Smyrna.
Dr. R. T. Wilson, who has been practicing in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, has returned to Milton and will remain there permanently,
The keel of the first submarine chaser to be built in Milton has been laid in the shipyard of Captain Ralph Potter.
On behalf of the Ushers Union of the Milton Methodist Church, Professor Ralph Smith presented a Service Flag to the church, its acceptance being made by Mrs. Elizabeth Chandler.
