Funeral services are pending at the Norton mortuary here for Otis Bryen Dunnagan, 33 Keyes area resident for the past two years, who died of injuries suffered in an auto accident 12 miles east of Groveland on Highway 120 Saturday afternoon.

Dunnagan, a passenger in an auto driven by his brother, Gettie Dunnagan, died Sunday morning in a Sonora hospital. The accident occurred about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Two persons reportedly were in the car when it plunged over a cliff and rolled into a canyon.

Dunnagan was a native of Ada, Okla., and attended schooles in that state. He moved to California in 1936, residing in Pacific Grove until 1940. In 1941 he entered the United States Navy. Following his discharge four years later he made his home in Fresno until 1951 when he moved to Keyes.

He was a member of Modesto Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He leaves his widow, Dorothy Lou Dunnagan; one son, Kelley B. Dunnagan, a stepson, Bill Stevens, all of Lubbock, Tex.; his parants, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dunnagan, Keyes; two sisters, Alice Edwards, Keyes, and Jean Posey, Fresno; and five brothers, Jimmy Dunnagan, Keyes; Gettie Dunnagan, New Jersey; Ray Dunnagan, Texas; Luther Dan Dunnagan, Fresno, and Bobbie Dunnagan, with the US Navy in Korea.
