Julius Frank of Chicago is visiting in this city.

Joe Van Valkenburgh went over to Wooley Springs yesterday to join his father’s family.

E. A. Tayman, car inspector for the Southern Weighing Bureau, has gone to Pittsburg, Pa., to visit relatives.

Mr. Ike Schiffman has returned from New York.

Phillip Pointer of Decatur was among friends in the city yesterday.

Tom White of Whitesburg was in the city yesterday.

C. R. Merritt of Atlanta is among the arrivals at the McGee.

Rev. H. E. Rice has returned from Bethel Church where he has been conducting services and will preach at the Dallas Avenue Baptist Church Sunday. On Monday, he will go to Mt. Zion to conduct a series of revival meetings.

W. Y. Wilson of Memphis is registered at the Huntsville.

Ernest Lamberson who took a long course at Chafin’s business college, will take the position of bookkeeper with J. R. Smith, grocer.

Louis Swann, of Chattanooga, is registered at the Huntsville.

S. P. Metcalfe, the merchant tailor, has returned from the eastern markets where he purchased a large stock of goods and tailors furnishings.

Alan Campbell, of St. Louis, is among friends in the city.
