HOPFE-FRANCY
At the home of the bride's parents at Bennett, Iowa. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1912, William E. Hopfe of this city and Miss Minnebelle Francy of Bennett were married, Rev. W. A. Buell of the M. E. church officiating. They were unattended. The bride wore a gown of white voile trimmed in shadow lace and tatting and carried white roses. Only immediate relatives were present. After congratulations a three course wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Hopfe came the following day to Austin. The groom came from Hartley, Iowa, to Austin about a year ago and is bookkeeper for the Crane Lumber company. The bride is a graduate of the Iowa State Normal school at Cedar Falls and has been for the past six years primary teacher at Bennett. Both are young people of excellent character and temperament and have many friends to wish them joy. They have purchased the W. J. Avery new bungalow 703 west Oakland avenue and expect to move in this week. An interesting incident is that their wedding day was the 33rd anniversary of the marriage of the groom's parents.
