The report comes from Cherokee county, North Carolina, of a terrible cloudburst there late Thursday afternoon. Two illicit distillers named Harvey Agnew and Jacob Newton, who happened to be nearby, were instantly killed. A number of farms for miles below were inundated, and growing crops suffered the loss of several thousand dollars.
