Dixie’s Doings Chronicled in Brief.
Franklin Stearns, one of Richmond’s wealthiest citizens, died Sunday, in the 74th year of his age. He was a native of Vermont, but had been a resident of Richmond fifty years. He was in prominent sympathy with the Union caused during the late War, and was imprisoned on that account. He was one of the largest property owners in the city.
