A Call for Hon. W. H. Simpson
EDITOR ENQUIRER:--There are a great many candidates whose names are now before the people as aspirants to fill the various offices in the county. Now we don’t hear much about who is to be our next representative. It is very important that we should select a man who is in every respect competent to serve us with ability and who will look well to our interest at the state capitol. We know that in the person of Hon. W. H. Simpson we will find the man. He ably represented our interests in the last session of the General Assembly and we therefore call upon him to announce himself for the office and the people will nominate and elect him by a

EDITOR ENQUIRER:--The people of the western portion of Morgan County are anxious for Hon. W. H. Simpson to again represent Morgan County in the legislature. He made us a good representative and we are for him again and hope he will announce at once. There is no man more popular among the people at his old home here at Danville than he is. Let us hear from you Mr. Simpson.

EDITOR ENQUIRER:--For the best ten or twelve years three of the county commissioners have resided in the western portion of the county and we think it time the eastern portion should have a finger in the pie. Se we ask permission through the columns of your valuable paper to call on John T. Cooper to become a candidate for the office of county commissioner. A Call for Maj. B. F. Bean
EDITOR ENQUIRER:--A large number of the voters of Morgan County would like to see the office of county commissioner filled with men who have made a success in business and has some experience in the affairs of the county. Such a man is Maj. B. F. Bean, who has served us so faithfully during the past four years. He is able and competent to fill the office, and can be relied on to perform good work for the county. We believe the office should seek the man, and if Maj. Bean will accept and express his willingness to run for the office he will be elected. His best of friends throughout the county hope he will announce soon in the ENQUIRER.
