Hotel Boger is now becoming a popular resort for traveling men. The tables are supplied with the best the market affords. There is no more obliging host anywhere than Mr. J. C. Boger, the popular proprietor. Mr. J. C. Rogers is the accommodating clerk and does up the house in grand shape for hospitality.
Vocal Class Entertainment
Prof. S. J. Perry’s vocal class will close Friday night at Baptist Church with a vocal entertainment. The class has been under instructions for the last twenty nights and they are well trained and make splendid music. All are invited to attend. If you want to enjoy a pleasant hour of entertainment, be sure and be there.

The Morgan County Medical Society
The Morgan county Medical Society convened in the Speaks Hotel last Thursday Feby and
The following members were in attendance. Drs. W. B. Black, B. F. Cross, W. G. Gill, W. Y. Young of Decatur, R. S. Watkins, A. J. Stewart of Flint City, J. S. Turney, A. C. Henry, J. B. West. The following were elected officers for the ensuing year:
W. G. Gill, President.
R. S. Watkins, Vice-President.
Peter Binford, Secretary.
J. S. Turney, Treasurer.
The session was short but interesting. The next meeting will be held in Decatur the 1s Thursday in March.

The gentleman whose name heads this article is well known throughout Alabama, Georgia and other Southern states as one of the best vocal music teachers in the south. He has been engaged in his profession for a number of years and he has but few equals as a trained. He is wedded to his profession and he is constantly striving to make advancements as the years roll on and we have no doubt that he will stand at the head of this profession. Prof. Perry has made many friends in our town and county who wish him God’s speed wherever he may go and hope that his fondest dreams in his chosen profession will be more than realized. Where he has been he has always given satisfaction and is wanted again. Wherever his lot is cast we recommend him as an excellent teacher and a gentleman.
