Thursday afternoon, Katie Callahan, Delah M. Walsh, Mattie Heating, Maggie Tooney and Lucy Callahan, aged from twelve to fourteen years, went bathing in the Concord river at North Bellerica, Mass. The current carried them beyond their depth and the first four were drowned.
