Over a Game of Craps
Henry Pattin and George Hopper became involved in a quarrel over a game of craps at Hopkinsville. Ky., when the latter drew his revolver and shot Pattin in the neck, inflicting a fatal wound.
At a Church Festival
At a church festival, held near Hopkinsville. Ky., Joseph White, colored, was shot in the back and instantly killed. Albert Hoskins was arrested and lodged in jail charged with the deed.
