Miss Otis D. Thach, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. C. Thach, of Auburn, and granddaughter of Dr. Otis Smith, has just been admitted to the Senior Class at Vassar College as the appointee of the Daughters of the Confederacy to a scholarship, which they hold to this great woman’s school. Miss Thatch is not only possessed of personal charm, but is also endowed with a fine mentality.
Miss Thach is a great niece of the late Capt. Daniel Coleman, of this city.
