On this morning at 1 o'clock, Mr. Garret Anderson, aged 56. Hs friends are invited to attend his funeral on tomorrow (Thursday) at 12 o'clock M. from his late residence on Penn. Avenue.

In this city, on this morning, Mrs. Elizabeth Nelson, consort of Samuel Nelson, in the 50th year of her age. Her funeral will take place from Christ Church (Protestant Episcopal) near the Navy Yard on Friday, the 21st, at 2 o'clock P.M. Her friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

On Tuesday morning, January 18, Thomas R. Van Tyne, son of the late Dr. J. P. Van Tyne, in the 22nd year of his age. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from the residence of his mother on F Street, near 13th Street, tomorrow at 3 o'clock.

On January 17, Mrs. Ann Edwards, consort of Gen. Samuel M. Edwards in the 60th year of her age.

On January 15th, after an illness of 18 days, of water on the brain, produced by teething, Lelia McNutt, aged 21 months, only child of William T. and Martha E. Smithson.
