Exciting Changes Coming

NewspaperAbstracts.com contains thousands of news clippings from newspapers around the world. One of the most frequent question from site visitors looking for historical newspapers is how and where to find them. There are a handful of major online databases with a selection of historical newspapers along with several state libraries and other institutions that have placed them online but finding the newspapers in the areas you need can be a daunting task.

Assistance is on the way – I am currently working state by state and county by county to get these historical newspaper titles listed along with links to any online databases that may include the title and which major libraries may carry them as well.

As soon as I am able to work my way through all of the historical newspapers that I can find, I will begin working on locating and linking to current day newspapers.
